Thorne Leroy Tibbitts, 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 17, 2025, in Spokane, Washington. Born on May 17, 1937, Thorne was raised in Spanaway and graduated from Washington State University in 1960, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, a four-year letterman in gymnastics, and a yell leader.
